Edward Jones Dome Convention and Stadium Facility:  CxE (formerly Robert Towell & Associates) assisted with the commissioning services in 1995 and 1996, and developed the preventative maintenance plan for all mechanical and electrical systems for the facility.  We received a 1st place national ASHRAE Technology Award for this project.  CxE Group continues to provide many support services to this facility through a consulting agreement with America’s Center, the facility operator. Currently, we are implementing a Recommissioning Program for the Dome, which is designed to verify the proper operation of the HVAC systems and all life safety features. This program is approximately 70% complete, and has been expanded to include many energy saving opportunities discovered during the system evaluation.

Thomas F. Eagleton Federal Courthouse, St. Louis, Missouri:  CxE (formerly Robert Towell & Associates) was hired by GSA in 1999 to provide construction phase commissioning services for this $200 million, 29 story, 920,000 square foot federal judicial facility. We should note that this project had an interesting construction history, which included firing the general contractor 75% of the way through the construction process. The various subcontractors were hired directly by GSA and continued to work on the project until available funding was exhausted. Unfortunately the project was still not complete.
The first portion of our program included verification of all systems on the 6th Floor and above, and development of a list of outstanding issues on the lower levels that still needed additional work by appropriate contractors. Following a couple of funding cycles over a few years, we were able to see this commissioning project through to completion in early 2006.

St. Louis Zoo Animal Nutrition Center: This unique LEED certified facility provides laboratory and office area, animal food preparation and education support services for the St. Louis Zoo. While not a large project, including roughly 18,000 sq. ft. spread over two levels, the unique combination of building uses has made this important facility a challenge for the design and construction team. The design team includes Fox Architects of St. Louis and William Tao & Associates as MEP engineer. The project was designed in 2005, and was occupied in June, 2007. CxE Group has provided LEED compliant commissioning services for this project. This project has received a LEED-NC Silver rating.

Millipore Corporation – Building 15 Fit-out:  CxE Group provided independent commissioning services for this two story office, research laboratory, and production facility.  This project was completed last summer (2008), and is registered to achieve a LEED-CI Certified rating.

Cape Girardeau Social Security Building:  CxE Group is providing independent commissioning services for this one story facility, which is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2009.  This is a LEED-NC project currently registered only and planning to achieve Silver Certification.

Daniel Boone Building, City of Columbia:  CxE Group is providing independent commissioning services for this six story city government facility that is being constructed in three phases.  The small first phase was completed in the summer of 2008, Phase 2 includes a new construction portion is scheduled to be complete early in 2010, and Phase 3 includes a major renovation of the existing historic building to be complete near the end of 2010.  This is a LEED-NC project currently registered only and planning to achieve Gold Certification.
